Alison has always subscribed to the credo that life is worth savoring. Transplanted New Yorker, advertising creative and tastemaker turned entrepreneur, she has been determined to combine her lifetime passion for entertaining and all things food and drink.

As an early adopter of the artisanal food movement and a big supporter of small business, I worked to help bring unknown artisans to the forefront. After spending some time in the cocktail space, I saw what was happening on the horizon and wanted to combine my knowledge of bar ingredients in the market and the need to create unique cocktail experiences that everyone can enjoy whenever, and wherever they may be, without the inhibition and fear.

Hands down, my most memorable cocktail experience was at THE BAR at The Dorchester Hotel in London in 2004. Having heard from trusted sources that the Cosmopolitan was the most notable cocktail on the menu at the time, I tossed my previous notions aside and ordered. After using such care and grace to make my drink, the mixologist handed me a cocktail that was the most lovely shade of deep pink, then garnished with a Meyer lemon rind that was heated just so that the oils on the rind glistened in the candlelight.
