The story of Sugarfina will sweeten anyone’s view on the entrepreneurial spirit and online dating.

Founders Rosie O’Neill and Josh Resnick, had just met on Match.com and were on their third date when a night at the movies changed their lives and their futures forever. After a screening of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the two candy lovers left the movie in complete agreement that what the world needed was a candy boutique for grown ups. Entrepreneurs at heart and timing on their side, so began a journey and a dream job that took them across the globe in search of the finest sweets and confections. Armed with guidebooks in hand, written tips from the concierge at many hotels and sometimes just a stroke of luck, Rosie and Josh were able to seek out the top small batch candy producers in many of the foreign lands that they visited. Morocco, Italy and Germany, just to name a few. 

The Sugarfina dream became a reality in 2012. Only three months after launching, Facebook came a calling and sealed the beginnings of their many successes. They haven’t looked back since in business or in pleasure. Rosie and Josh are now engaged and have five Sugarfina stores to call their own. With more opening every year, Sugarfina continues to give all of us the best sugar high ever. Now isn't that the SWEETEST love story?
