This special Halloween post doesn't contain any pictures of cocktails with eyeballs, spiders or fake blood. Today we interrupt the usual Halloween posts with a "trick or treat" suggestion. Chances are that if you are a parent, family or a friend to a parent, trick or treating has definitely lost its luster. Agreed, the kids' first or second Halloween is magical, but after that? Not so much. Once you've got the third or fourth house, you're done. You probably ate your candy quota at home anyway because it's that one time a year you eat crappy chocolate. Problem is, the kids want to keep going until their plastic pumpkins overflow, and you don't blame them. How do you take the party on the road and make Trick or Treating a bit more exciting for anyone older than 21? Break out the old wagon and use it as a traveling bar. Yes, it's a tad worn, a bit moldy and has some spider webs on it (which is good because you won't have to decorate it) We spruced ours up with some great fabric and filled it with a couple of Spiced Apple Toddy kits, add added our choice spirit and some Tossware glasses (because they can be "tossed" and are recyclable) and built ourselves a traveling bar. We added some extra candy for snacking. Who says trick or treating can't be fun?
